The bane of gardeners. But, it has a cute little face, don’t you think? Lots of myths and superstitions surround white butterflies, many bringing good luck and others not. Native Americans thought they could induce hypnotic and pleasant dreams and some people believed they were angels watching over you.


I have watched these flutter around since I was a kid and never saw their head! Thank you!

Luckily, the cabbage white butterflies left my cabbage alone. The slugs were culprit this year. They are beautiful on your photos!

Beautiful butterfly image, how could you remember their name? Any refer book or google? Insects are far tougher to identify then birds.

These insects are a common pest here, so I know its name! Sometimes I upload the image through google images and it gives the name.
